Chicago - Dinner, BBQ - Green Street Smoked Meats 芝加哥 (美食, 晚飯, 燒烤)

Recently found this BBQ place and I already love it 😍😍

🍞🍻Green Street Smoked Meats 🍖🍗

It located at the West Loop of Chicago, around Randolph St and Green St. It was next to The Allis, high tea place (https://eggonroad.blogspot.com/2017/07/chicago-breakfastbrunch-allis.html) At the Soho area in West side of Chicago 🤗

There were lots of bars and restaurants in the area. During the night, especially Thursday to Saturday, lots of people hang out with their friends and families. The atmosphere was really good. The entrance was down to the alley on Green St and you could see the sign pointed at the door. They have outdoor and indoor seats. I would pick the indoor when it's nice weather 🌛

Menu

It was a cafeteria style service. The tables were first come first serve. We went to their counter and order, get the tray and take the food to our table. It was very casual and no one would give you any pressure. The line was long during the dinner time. We waited in line for around 15mins. Their menu had not too many choices, pork, beef, chicken, and sides. They were not ordered by a combo, you could pick any meat or sides as you want.


MEATS 🍖🍗🍔

My most favor meats were Pork Belly and Beef Short Ribs. The meats were very soft and juicy. Although Beef Short Rib is kind of expensive, it worth to try and you could share it with your friends. The portion was big. My friend like Smoked Chicken Leg, but I think it was kind of dry for me...... However, I checked reviews on the website, some people might think that their food was too salty or heavy taste. It may not suit you if you don't like heavy taste 🤔🤔

SIDES 🥗🌽

I love their option of sides and they were very tasty too. I ordered Elote Style Corn and Potato Salad every time I been there 🌽🌽🤗 Potato Salad was just I personally love that. Corn was Mexican style, they mix it with cheese and other tasty ingredients. Also, it comes with white bread when you order. You don't need to worry about not enough food 😆

I ordered 3 sides and 3 types of meat, white bread was included.

🍸🥂BAR 🍻🥃

When eating BBQ Meats, beer was something that could not miss. They have a bar area in the center of the restaurant. You could sit around it or order any drink from there. They have bottles or cans of beer in the ice sink right next to the door. I just took a bottle of beer from the sink and paid at the bar for only $5. 🍺

PARKING 🚗🚙

There are lots of street parking around the area. However, it would be very busy during the dinner time or after office hour. You might need to park couple blocks far from the restaurant. I would download the Street Parking App, in case the parking hour expire when you are eating 🙃🙃

It was a very good place for family or friends gathering, especially during happy hours on Thursday to Saturday. There are lots of people would go there and have drinks and eat together. The atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable.
